  • I offer individual, relational, and family therapy to teens and adults throughout the state of California. I also offer in-person sessions in Pasadena, CA.

In relational/couples therapy, I work with partners of all relationship structures and styles: monogamous, non-monogamous, polyamorous, and mono-poly. We will collaborate on the session structure that makes the most sense for your unique relationship dynamic.

  • I offer sessions in-person in Pasadena, California and virtually with clients across the state of California.

    • Individual fee for a 50-minute session: $150

    • Relational therapy fee for a 50-minute session (2+ people): $175

Those who can afford my full fee are directly supporting others with limited resources who are able to take advantage of my sliding scale spots.

I offer a limited number of sliding scale spots and do what I can to make therapy more accessible. Please reach out to discuss further. If I do not have any slots, I will provide thoughtful referrals. Everyone who wants therapy deserves to access it at a fee that is sustainable for them.

  • I am not in-network with any insurance providers at this time. However, depending on your insurance plan, I can provide you with a monthly superbill that you then submit to your insurance company for partial reimbursement.

  • Let’s connect! Reach out through the contact form on this website or via email at TherapyWithNuala@gmail.com to schedule a free 20-minute consultation call.

During the consultation call, we’ll discuss your hopes for therapy, I’ll answer any questions you might have, and you can decide if I’m the right fit for you. If for any reason we’re not the right fit, I am happy to provide thoughtful referrals to help you access the support that works best for you.

Good Faith Estimate:

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost. Under the law, healthcare providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services.

You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
